ABS Launches the World’s First Submersible Waste Water Pumps with Premium Efficiency Motors

ABS Pumps and A.T.E. Enterprises Private Limited., recently launched the new ABS EffeX range of pumps in India. ABS EffeX range is the world’s first submersible wastewater range of pumps with premium efficiency motors. These pumps were introduced to the Indian market through customer meets and seminars organized at New Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

ABS seminars were addressed by Mr. Richard Tö,nhardt, Director, ABS Asia Pacific, Singapore, and Mr. Peter Bonn, Global Marketing & Product Manager, Engineered Pumps, from ABS Germany. The seminars were attended by prominent consultants, senior officers of the municipal corporations, water treatment OEMs and major industry users. Apart from the EffeX range, the seminar also covered an integrated approach towards sustainability by emphasising system engineering of pumps, pumping station designs, model testing, and controls. Mr. Bonn on account of his vast experience in this domain, addressed problems faced by municipal corporations and experience how to avoid them through proper designing of pumping stations.

Completely new concept

The new ABS EffeX range is a completely new concept in submersible wastewater pumping equipment. It pushes available technology to the limit with focus on delivering the utmost in reliable operation and advanced design with greater safety margins and blockage resistance free solid passage. As it incorporates the first premium-efficiency IE3 motor designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60034-30 together with optimised hydraulics, the new ABS EffeX range gives the best total efficiency available in the market today.
