14. Officer - Sales Administration - Chennai
Key job responsibilities:
- To receive, read and organize day-to-day incoming mail including
fax and e-mail messages; its scanning, filing of papers and record-keeping,
back up, forwarding or distribution to the right person and take other necessary
actions including preparation of draft replies.
- Independent correspondence, preparation of offers, confirmation
of appointments, forward the messages to concerned persons based on decisions
taken etc.
- Collection and consolidation of the data in order to generate
required MIS of the processing business group.
- To prepare a checklist of monthly business-review activities,
collect required data as per ISO systems as well as for MIS.
- To attend telephone calls and reply suitably, note down
the messages, divert business enquiries to respective sales and service personnel.
- Assist sales and service personnel to schedule conferences
and business meetings; prepare and circulate agenda, minutes drafting etc.,
as per the instructions.
- To visit local customers for collection of payments, C forms
or for any other sales and service related matter as and when required.
- To visit principals for reconciliation of accounts matters.
- Maintaining data related to Order Management / Order acceptance
/ Invoicing / Receipts in ERP.
Pre-requisites:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Good operating knowledge of any standard computer packages.
- Positive attitude towards learning.
- Ability to liaise with regional offices, factories, principals
etc.,
- Ability to get along with senior executives and co-ordinate
with them.
- Sense of responsibility, commitments and time management.
- Ability to prioritize assignments.
Qualification: Graduate degree
in any stream
Experience:: Diploma in commercial practices is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a mid- sized company in a similar profile.
