15. General Manager - Project Sales - Mumbai
Key job responsibilities:
- Preparation of sales, pricing and executing strategies.
- Manage sales and collections as well as customer care.
- Lead, motivate and train sales teams.
- Manage key accounts and engage consultants.
- Plan and carry out effective sales & marketing plans set
in line with the company's business strategies to achieve revenue growth and
profitability target.
- Develop, establish and maintain profitable relationship with existing & potential customers.
- Guide teams on preparation of all requisite bids, quotations, tenders, proposals and submissions in the securing of projects.
- Identify and meet new prospects, make presentations when
required and follow up with prospective customers.
- Continuously monitor the market development and look for new project opportunities.
- Prepare forecast of future sales, in support of operation
in marketing Principals' production target.
- Provide customers' feedback on products' quality and timeliness of delivery.
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical/Chemical. Masters degree in Marketing is desirable.
Pre-requisites:
- Result-oriented, good business acumen, with at least 7-8
years of proven track record in executing project sales and marketing of pumping
systems or plants to water and waste water segment in municipal corporation,
power plants, water works etc.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as project leader.
- Directly managed or supervised a project team. Demonstrated
performance in the methods of proposal and bid preparation, including scopes
etc.
- Resourceful, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills,
keen sense for details and able to work effectively across many functional
areas.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills,
able to converse in local language & other regional languages would be an
added advantage.
